Ragnar Asbjørnsen (22 March 1931 – 4 August 2003), who recorded under the name Ray Adams, was a Norway, Norwegian singer. He had a number of hit songs in Norway and other European countries, starting with "Violetta" in 1961, which sold 300,000 copies in Europe. Ray Adams (basketball)
Raymond Thomas Adams (September 28, 1912 – August 26, 1992) was an American professional basketball player. He played for the Oshkosh All-Stars and Chicago Bruins in the National Basketball League (United States), National Basketball League and averaged 4.1 points per game. Adams served as a lieutenant in the United States Army during World War II and was head coach of the 1944 Camp Ellis Cardinals football team. He also coached high school basketball and became a tax and financial consultant. References

Raymond Delacy Adams
Raymond Delacy Adams (February 13, 1911 – October 18, 2008) was an American neurologist and neuropathologist. He was Bullard Professor of Neuropathology at Harvard Medical School and chief of neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Along with Maurice Victor, Adams was the author of ''Adams and Victor's Principles of Neurology''. Born near Portland, Oregon, Adams was the son of William Henry Adams and Eva Mabel Morriss. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Psychology. He received his M.D. from the Duke University School of Medicine in 1936. Adams became chief of neurology at Massachusetts General in 1951 retiring in 1977. Adams had an encyclopedic knowledge of adult neurology, pediatric neurology, and neuropathology and is widely regarded as a pre-eminent neurologist of the mid-20th century.
