Raw (novel)
RAW is a young adult novel by List of Australian authors, Australian author Scott Monk. First published by Random House Australia in 1998, it has been reprinted eleven times. RAW is a tale of a teenager named Brett Dalton who has been sentenced to three months at ''The Farm'' for a break and enter charge. Brett learns a lot about himself during his time at ''The Cotton Farm''. While there he finds love, he makes some new friends and he also manages to gain some enemies. Characters *Brett Anthony Dalton is the main character who ‘doesn’t live by the rules’, sent to ''The Farm'' on break and enter charges. Throughout the book the reader gets more of an insight into why Brett acts the way he does. He doesn't like authority figures such as Sam or the Police. Scott Monk
Scott Monk (born 14 June 1974) is an Australians, Australian author. Monk was born in Macksville, New South Wales, Macksville in New South Wales. He later lived in North Ryde, attending local public school Peter Board High, before moving to South Australia to join ''The Advertiser (Adelaide), The Advertiser'' as a cadet journalist. In 1999 he won South Australia's Young Journalist of the Year Award. Mungindi is a town and locality on the border of New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland, Australia. The town is within Moree Plains Shire in New South Wales. Moree is a town in Moree Plains Shire in northern New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the banks of the Mehi River, in the centre of the rich black-soil plains.
