Nova Andradina
Nova Andradina is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Its population was 45,585 (2020) and its area is 4,776 km². It is known as the "Capital of the Ivinhema Valley." Handball At The 2015 Pan American Games – Men's Tournament
The men's handball tournament at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, was held at the Exhibition Centre (in Hall B) from July 17 to 25. For these Games, the men competed in an 8-team tournament. The teams were grouped into two pools of four teams each for a round-robin preliminary round. The top two teams in each group advanced to a single elimination bracket. Argentina were the defending champions from the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, defeating Brazil, 26–23 in the final. The two teams faced each other again in the 2015 final, this time with Brazil the victor, 29-27 in extra time. The tournament determined one direct qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and one entrant in the Olympic Qualification Tournament. The 2019 IHF World Men's Handball Championship was the 26th event hosted by the International Handball Federation and held in Denmark and Germany from 10 to 27 January 2019. It was the first IHF World Men's Handball Championship to include more than one host country. It was also the first time a unified Korean team participated. Denmark, in a clean sweep, won their first title by defeating Norway 31–22 in the final. This was Norway's second final in a row and the first final since 1995 between two nations who had not won before. France captured the bronze medal after a 26–25 win over Germany. The tournament set a new spectator record with 906,283, helped by the fact that there were two home teams. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The 2022 South and Central American Men's Handball Championship was the second edition of the South and Central American Men's Handball Championship, held from 25 to 29 January 2022 in Recife, Brazil.
