''Rattlesnakes'' is a 2019 film directed by Julius Amedume and produced by Nik Powell of Scala Productions. It is based on the stage play ''Rattlesnakes'' written by Graham Farrow. Starring Jack Coleman (actor), Jack Coleman, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Kathleen McClellan, the story revolves around Robert McQueen, whose day takes a turn for the worse when he is held hostage and accused by three vengeful husbands of sleeping with their wives. Julius Amedume
Julius Amedume (born 6 June 1977), is a Ghanaian-British people, British director, writer and producer. He is best known for directing the award-winning feature films ''A Goat's Tail'' and Rattlensnakes. Personal life He was born on 6 June 1977 in Ewe, eastern Ghana. Career He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (BSC Hons.) in communication and technology. He was able to move to England after awarding a Toledo scholarship, where he completed his master's degree in directing fiction at the National Film and Television School. His first major film work was the short documentary ''Canal Plus'' in Belgium and France about the Cinefondation award at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. In the meantime, he wrote and directed four short films including ''The Meeting'', ''The Video Tape'', and ''The Phone Call''. Nik Powell
Nik Powell (4 November 1950 – 7 November 2019) was a British businessman and one of the co-founders of Virgin Records with Richard Branson. After operating a mail-order company, a small record shop, and a recording studio, the partners established the label in 1972. It became one of the UK's major recording labels until its sale to EMI in 1992. Biography Born in Great Kingshill, Buckinghamshire, England, Powell was educated first at Longacre School, Shamley Green, Guildford, Surrey, moving when he was seven to a small Catholic preparatory school, St. Richard's in Little Malvern, outside Malvern. Graham Ronald Farrow is an English playwright and screenwriter from North Yorkshire; living in Yarm, born in Middlesbrough, and educated at Scarborough College. His first novel, ''Speak no Evil'', was nominated for the 1989 Commonwealth Writer's Prize. The CaribbeanTales International Film Festival is an annual film festival, staged in Toronto, Ontario. The festival programs a lineup of films from Caribbean countries, as well as films from the Caribbean diaspora in Canada.
