Ratman
''Ratman'' (Italian: ''Quella villa in fondo al parco'') is a 1988 Italian exploitation horror film directed by Giuliano Carnimeo. Plot Two models, Marlis and Peggy, are on a Caribbean Island for a photoshoot. One night Peggy is found dead and her body seems eaten by rats. The victim's sister, Terry, arrives on the island and helped by a mystery novel writer met at the airport starts to investigate. Meanwhile, Marlis and the photographer find other corpses in the jungle. Searching for help they stopped at an isolated house just to discover that the landlord is a scientist who created a ferocious mutant half-ape, half rat. Cast Release ''Ratman'' was released in 1988. Reception Todd Martin of ''Horror News Network'' had praised the film for its gore and acting of Nelson de la Rosa and Eva Grimaldi but criticized the film for its long and boring scenes where blood and gore were not the factors. David Warbeck
David Warbeck (born David Mitchell; 17 November 1941 – 23 July 1997) was a New Zealand actor and model best known for his roles in European exploitation and horror films. A native of Christchurch, New Zealand, Warbeck became involved in local theatre there, which led to him receiving a scholarship to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 1965. After attending for four terms, Warbeck dropped out and began working as a model. He made his feature film debut in John Hough's '' Wolfshead: The Legend of Robin Hood'' (1969), reuniting with the director again for 1971's ''Twins of Evil''. Throughout the 1970s, Warbeck appeared in numerous international exploitation films, including '' A Fistful of Dynamite'' (1971) and ''Black Snake'' (1974), which established him as a niche action film star. Lena Janet Yvonne Ågren (born 6 April 1949) is a Swedish former actress and model. She starred primarily in Italian exploitation films. Life and career Ågren was born in Landskrona, Sweden, a town she once described to Italian entertainment journalists as a "Northern Naples". Giuliano Carnimeo (born Carmineo; 4 July 1932 – 10 September 2016) was an Italian director and screenwriter, sometimes credited as Anthony Ascott or Antony Ascot. Life and career Born in Bari, Carmineo started his career as assistant director for, among others, Giorgio Simonelli and Camillo Mastrocinque. Nelson de la Rosa Martínez ( – October 22, 2006), Mahow, was a Dominican actor and one of the shortest men of the 20th and 21st centuries. Nelson measured 71 centimeters tall (about 2 feet 4 inches). Carolyn De Fonseca (25 May 1929 – May 2009) was an American actress based in Rome. She worked extensively as a voice actress for the English-language dubbing of several hundred foreign (mostly Italian) films from the early 1960s and onwards. She was also the wife of actor/voice dubber Ted Rusoff, with whom she frequently worked. She died in 2009.
