Ratko Rudić (born 7 June 1948 in Belgrade, PR Serbia, FPR Yugoslavia) is a retired Croatian water polo coach and a former water polo player. , he has won 38 medals as a coach at major events, making him the most successful water polo coach in history, and second most successful team sport coach of all time. He won four gold medals, of which three consecutive, with three different national teams at the Summer Olympics, as well as three gold medals with three national teams at the World Championships, among many others. In 2007 was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame, described as "one of the best, if not the best, water polo coach to walk the deck of the pool". Ratko Vujović (16 December 1916 – 29 October 1977) was a Yugoslavian political activist and soldier. After the Second World War, Vujović was the first elected President of FK Partizan. Biography Ratko Vujović was born on 16 December 1916 in Nikšić, Montenegro. Before the start of the Second World War, he was a student. As a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, he was active since 1938. He also took part in the Spanish Civil War. He came back to Yugoslavia around July 1941 and fought in the Yugoslav People's Liberation War. He became a deputy, as well as political commissar of the 2nd Krajina ( Kozarian) detachment. He was a prominent combatant in a heavy battle in the time of great offensives at Kozara in the summer of 1942. Ratko Varda ( sr-cyr, Ратко Варда; born May 6, 1979) is a Serbian-Bosnian former basketball player who played professionally for 22 years. Standing at , he played the center position. He first represented FR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro junior national team, and later represented Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team internationally. Professional career Varda came up through Partizan's youth system and made his debut during the 1995–96 season, before making himself eligible for the 2001 NBA draft.
