Motion Picture Association Of America Film Rating System
The Motion Picture Association film rating system is used in the United States and its territories to rate a motion picture's suitability for certain audiences based on its content. The system and the ratings applied to individual motion pictures are the responsibility of the Motion Picture Association (MPA), previously known as the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) from 1945 to 2019. The MPA rating system is a voluntary scheme that is not enforced by law; films can be exhibited without a rating, although most theaters refuse to exhibit non-rated or NC-17 rated films. Non-members of the MPA may also submit films for rating. Other media, such as television programs, music and video games, are rated by other entities such as the TV Parental Guidelines, the RIAA and the ESRB, respectively. The Canadian Home Video Rating System (CHVRS) is a voluntary Content rating, rating classification system applied to home video products such as VHS and DVDs. It is administered by the Motion Picture Classification Corporation of Canada, a subsidiary of the Motion Picture Association – Canada (MPA–C). ''Rated R'' (also known on vinyl as ''Rated X'' and ''Rated RX'' on 2010 deluxe edition) is the second studio album by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age, released on June 6, 2000 by Interscope Records. Ralph Edward Tresvant (born May 16, 1968) is an American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer, best known as the lead singer of R&B group New Edition. As a solo artist, Tresvant released the album ''Ralph Tresvant'' (1990). In 2008, he began touring with Bobby Brown and Johnny Gill in a new group named Heads of State. Reginald Noble (born April 17, 1970), better known by his stage name Redman, is an American rapper, DJ, record producer, and actor. Thug Life was an American hip hop group that consisted of Tupac, Big Syke, Mopreme, Macadoshis, and The Rated R. They released one album, 1994's '' Thug Life: Volume 1'', before disbanding in 1995. Adam Joseph Copeland (born October 30, 1973), is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Edge. He is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. DYAB (1512 AM) Radyo Patrol was a radio station owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation. The station's studio and office were located at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Complex, North Road, Brgy. Jagobiao, Mandaue, while its transmitter was located at Brgy. Cogon Pardo, Cebu City. DYAB originally operated on a 24-hour, 7-day schedule from its inception in 1995.
