Ratchadamri station ( th, สถานีราชดำริ, ) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Silom line in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Ratchadamri Road between Ratchaprasong intersection and Lumphini Park, amid condominiums, office towers, hotels, and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club racetrack. There is a skyway from the station concourse to St Regis hotel. BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010 and debuting in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. Ratchaprasong ( th, ราชประสงค์, ; also spelled ''Rajprasong'') is the name of an intersection, and a shopping district named after it, in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, adjacent to the Siam area, at the BTS Skytrain's Chit Lom Station and the intersection of Phloen Chit, Rama I, and Ratchadamri Roads. The area is home to many shopping malls and hotels. Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak)
The Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), colloquially known as Mo Chit 2 ( th, หมอชิต 2) or New Mo Chit, is one of the main long-distance bus stations serving Greater Bangkok. It is operated by the state enterprise The Transport Co., Ltd., and serves as the main gateway to and from the northern and northeastern provinces for those travelling by bus. The station is located on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road in Bangkok's Chatuchak District, near Queen Sirikit Park. It began operations on 8 April 1998, replacing the older Mo Chit Bus Terminal, whose location was being converted for the construction of the main BTS Skytrain depot. Side Platform
A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Skyway
A skyway, skybridge, skywalk, or sky walkway is an elevated type of pedway connecting two or more buildings in an urban area, or connecting elevated points within mountainous recreational zones. Urban skyways very often take the form of enclosed or covered footbridges that protect pedestrians from the weather. Open-top modern skyways in mountains now often have glass bottoms. The Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC, th, ราชกรีฑาสโมสร) is an exclusive sports club in Bangkok, Thailand, best known to the public for its horse racing venue. Lumphini Park
Lumphini Park ( th, สวนลุมพินี, , ), also Lumpini or Lumpinee, is a 360 rai () park in Bangkok, Thailand. The park offers rare open public space, trees, and playgrounds in the Thai capital and contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats. Paths around the park totalling approximately 2.5 km in length are a popular area for morning and evening joggers. Officially, cycling is only permitted during the day between the times of 10:00 to 15:00. There is a smoking ban throughout the park. Dogs are not allowed, except certified guide dogs only. Ratchadamri Road
Ratchadamri Road ( th, ถนนราชดำริ, , ; also spelled Rajdamri) is a road in Bangkok. It runs a distance of in a north–south direction from Pratu Nam Intersection, where it meets Phetchaburi and Ratchaprarop Roads, to Sala Daeng Intersection, where it meets Rama IV and Si Lom Roads, forming the boundary between the Pathum Wan and Lumphini Subdistricts of Pathum Wan District. Silom Line
The BTS Silom line ( th, รถไฟฟ้า สายสีลม) or Dark Green line, is an elevated rapid transit line of the BTS Skytrain in Bangkok, Thailand.
