Rasigan
''Rasigan'' () () is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written and directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars his son Vijay and Sanghavi. The film revolves around Vijay and Anitha secretly love each other but are unable to confess their love for each other. Her father realises this and tries to separate the two. However, fate has other plans in store. This was the first film where Vijay was credited with the prefix "Ilaya Thalapathy" (young commander-in-chief). Vijay also made his singing debut through the film's song "Bombay City Sukka Rotti". The film ran for 175 days in theatres and was declared hit at the box office. Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s. He was called Goundamani after acting as a Gounder in one of his early day dramas and the pseudonym stuck with him forever. History and profile ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication.
