Rashawn Shaquille Thomas (born August 15, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus of the Korean Basketball League. He played college basketball for Texas A&M–Corpus Christi. High school career Thomas attended Southeast High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma He was an Oklahoman All-State selection in 2013. College career As a sophomore he was named to the Second Team All-Southland. As a junior, he was named Southland Defensive Player of the Year and was selected to the First Team All-Southland. He had 73 blocks, an Islander single season record, and nine double doubles, which led the conference. In a game against Texas State on December 5, 2015, Thomas pulled down 19 rebounds. The Texas State Bobcats men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Texas State University. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. They are currently led by Terrence Johnson, who took over in September 2020 following the resignation of Danny Kaspar. The Bobcats last appeared in the NCAA tournament in 1997. The NBA G League International Challenge is an international professional basketball tournament featuring all-star selections of the NBA G League. Its purpose is to allow players from the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s development league to play games against clubs, league all-star selections, and national teams from around the world. The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, (PIT), is the oldest amateur basketball tournament in the United States and the only postseason camp restricted to college basketball seniors. The Portsmouth Invitational is the first of two NBA pre-draft camps, the other being the Orlando pre-draft camp. In 2019, SB Ballard construction was the lead sponsor of the uniforms as they began to expand into building arenas around the country.
