Raquel Rodríguez Cedeño (born 28 October 1993) is a Costa Rican professional Association football, footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Portland Thorns FC of the National Women's Soccer League and the Costa Rica women's national football team, Costa Rica women's national team. Early life Born in San José, Costa Rica to Sivianni Rodriguez and Grettel Cedeño, Rodriguez, nicknamed Rocky, was raised in Costa Rica and moved to the United States where support for women's soccer offered more opportunity. Her father, Sivianni Rodríguez, played professionally in Costa Rica with C.S. Herediano, Herediano and the Costa Rica national football team. Rodriquez began playing soccer at age four and played on boys teams and trained with her brother and father as a youth. Perth Glory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Perth, Western Australia. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues. The 2017 National Women's Soccer League season was the fifth season of the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. Including the NWSL's two professional predecessors, Women's Professional Soccer (2009–2011) and the Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003), it was the eleventh overall season of FIFA- and USSF-sanctioned top-division women's soccer in the United States. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually by the Missouri Athletic Club to the United States's top men's and women's college soccer players. The Duke Blue Devils are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina.
