Rapport (news Programme)
''Rapport'' ("Report") is one of the two main news programmes from the Swedish television broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). ''Rapports main bulletin is broadcast every day at 19:30 on SVT1. It runs for thirty minutes every day except Saturday, when it runs for fifteen minutes. Ever since the 1970s, it has been the most watched news bulletin in Sweden. A shorter version of the show is aired weekdays at 18:00 as part of a thirty-minute bloc on SVT1 that includes ''Kulturnyheterna'' (culture and entertainment news) and Sportnytt (sport news). On weekends the 18:00 edition runs on SVT1 for fifteen minutes. Since 2005, the show has usually been presented by Katarina Sandström, Lisbeth Åkerman and Morgan Olofsson. In the summer, both '' Aktuellt'' and ''Rapport'' 19:30 are frequently hosted by temps. Sveriges Television AB ("Sweden's Television Stock Company"), shortened to SVT (), is the Sweden, Swedish national public broadcasting, public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag (national parliament). Prior to 2019, SVT was funded by a television licence fee payable by all owners of television sets. The Swedish public broadcasting system is largely modelled after the system used in the United Kingdom, and Sveriges Television shares many traits with its British counterpart, the BBC. C More Entertainment AB is a pay television company that previously operated as Canal+. It targets Nordic countries and has a separate channel in Sweden (C More Film). The main competitors of C More Entertainment are Viasat Film and Viasat Sport, which are part of Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) since 2018. SVT Uutiset
Uutiset is a news programme from Sveriges Television. It is broadcast on SVT2 during 17:45 to 17:55 in Finnish. However, just like most foreign-language programmes aired on Swedish television, the show is subtitled in Swedish, but when an interviewee responds in Swedish the response is subtitled into Finnish. The program started broadcasting on 22 August 1988. Before the "Nyhetsflytt" (News swap) on 15 January 2001, Uutiset was broadcast on Kanal 1 and SVT1 at 17:50. It was launched on 22 August 1988 together with SVT's channel in Finland, SVT4 (later renamed as SVT Europa). Christian Falk
Christian Falk (25 April 1962 – 24 July 2014) was a Swedish record producer and musician. Falk started his recording career with the band Madhouse in the early 1980s. He later moved on and became a founding member of post-punk band Imperiet. In the early 1990s, he emerged as a producer and DJ in the emerging Swedish hip hop, soul and club scene. He switched comfortably between different styles of music; with Papa Dee he did dancehall hip hop, with Stonefunkers it was Daisy Age-inspired hip hop and P-Funk, dancehall with Swing-A-Ling Sound System, R&B and acid jazz with Blacknuss, hip hop with Petter, the Timebomb collective and Timbuktu, hardcore and electro with The Teddybears, and club soul with Kayo, among many others.
