Rao Anwar
Rao Anwar Ahmed Khan ( ur, ) is a retired Pakistani police officer who served as a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in the Malir District of Karachi. He is known as the "encounter specialist" of the Sindh Police because of his extrajudicial killings in alleged encounters, carrying out at least 444 killings between 2011 and 2018. After the killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud, Anwar was suspended from his post on 20 January 2018. On 10 December 2019, Anwar was blacklisted by the United States Department of the Treasury in the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List under the Global Magnitsky Act for his atrocities during his tenure, including the murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud. A year later, the United Kingdom also slapped him with sanctions, which included an asset freeze and travel ban to the UK. Pervez Musharraf
General Pervez Musharraf ( ur, , Parvez Muśharraf; born 11 August 1943) is a former Pakistani politician and four-star general of the Pakistan Army who became the tenth president of Pakistan after the successful military takeover of the federal government in 1999. March 2013 Karachi Bombing
The March 2013 Karachi bombing was a terrorist attack that struck a predominantly Shia area inside Abbas Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town in Karachi, Pakistan on 3 March 2013. At least 48+ people were killed and more than 180+ others injured after a car bomb was detonated outside a Shia mosque mosque, just as locals were leaving after the evening's services. Kiamari Town
Keamari Town ( ur, ) lies in the southern part of the city that was named after the historic seaside municipality of Keamari. Kemari Town was formed in 2001 as part of The Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Kemari Town was re-organized as part of Karachi West District in 2015. In 2020, Keamari District was carved out from Karachi West District.
