Ranko Despotović
Ranko Despotović ( sr-Cyrl, Ранко Деспотовић, ; born 21 January 1983) is a Serbian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), forward. Club career Born in Loznica, Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Despotović made his professional debuts with local FK Loznica aged only 17, and proceeded to score almost 30 goals overall in his first three years, subsequently being acquired by FK Vojvodina. After parts of seasons loaned to lowly FK Mačva Šabac, he returned, having a stellar 2006–07 Serbian Superliga, 2006–07 season and helping the team to the third place in Serbian Superliga, the league and 2006–07 Serbian Cup, coming up second in Serbian Cup, the domestic cup; to help achieve this, he topped the nation's goal charts by netting 17 times. Loznica
Loznica ( sr-cyrl, Лозница, ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city located in the Mačva District of western Serbia. It lies on the right bank of the Drina river. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. Javier Clemente
Javier Clemente Lázaro (; born 12 March 1950) is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Forced to retire from playing in his early 20s through injury, he embarked on a coaching career with his first managerial appointment coming in 1975. Over the next four decades, he took charge of several club and national teams, including Athletic Bilbao which he also represented as a player, as well as Espanyol and Spain. He won the La Liga championship in 1983 and 1984 with the former. The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. 2006–07 Serbian Cup
The 2006–07 Serbian Cup season was the first staging of Serbia's football knockout competition. It was the first tournament that Serbia ever held as an independent football association. Montenegro also held its first independent cup tournament in the 2006–07 season. The predecessor competition was the Serbia and Montenegro Cup until that state dissolved. Heavy favorites Red Star defeated Vojvodina to win the tournament and become Serbia's first cup winner and later clinched the Meridian SuperLiga title to claim its tenth domestic double.
