Chasselas or Chasselas blanc is a wine grape variety grown mainly in Switzerland, France, Germany, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, New Zealand, Croatia and Chile. Chasselas is mostly vinified to be a full, dry and fruity white wine. It is also suitable as a table grape, grown widely for this purpose in Turkey and Hungary. History Genetic analyses made in 2009 in a laboratory of the University of Dieppe showed that Chasselas is a grape variety originating in western Switzerland.J. F. VOUILLAMOZ et C. ARNOLEtude historico-génétique de l’origine du ‘Chasselas’ (PDF), Université de Neuchâtel, NCCR Plant Survival, 2009. Its name was first mentioned in the 16th century. Luglienga
Luglienga (also known as Lignan blanc and Seidentraube) is a white Italian wine and table grape variety that is grown across Europe. The grape has a long history of use, dating back to at least the 14th century in Piedmont but is today most seen a table grape that is occasionally used for home winemaking.J. Robinson, J. Harding and J. Vouillamoz ''Wine Grapes - A complete guide to 1,368 vine varieties, including their origins and flavours'' pg 556 Allen Lane 2012 History and relationship to other grapes The first written documentation of Luglienga dates back to 1329 where it was listed under the old synonym ''Luglienchis'' growing in the Piedmont wine region of northwest Italy. Ampelographers believe that the name is derived from the Italian ''Luglio'' which means July and could be a reference to the grape's tendency to ripen early in the growing season. The French synonym ''Jouanenc'', derived from ''juin'' meaning June also seems to support the grape's reputation as an early ...

''Lanke'' or ''Lankeshan'' (, Lànkē(shan), Lan-k'o (Shan)); "(The Mountain of) the Rotten Axe Handle" in English), is a Chinese legend which has been compared to that of Rip Van Winkle, although it predates it by at least 1000 years. One plot element of the legend features two immortals playing a board game, interpreted in later times as Go, so that ''Lanke'' (or ''Ranka'' in Japanese) has become a literary name for Go. The legend The legend is recorded in 's or ''Tales of the Strange'', and features a woodcutter, Wang Zhi or Wang Chih (), and his encounter with the two immortals in the mountains. The story runs as follows:Ren Fang (任昉), ''Shu Yi Ji'' (《述異記》: "At Mount Shishi in Xing'an County, during the Jin Dynasty, a Wang Zhi was chopping wood, when he saw ...

Go (board Game)
Go is an abstract strategy board game for two players in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day. A 2016 survey by the International Go Federation's 75 member nations found that there are over 46 million people worldwide who know how to play Go and over 20 million current players, the majority of whom live in East Asia. The playing pieces are called stones. One player uses the white stones and the other, black. The players take turns placing the stones on the vacant intersections (''points'') of a board. Once placed on the board, stones may not be moved, but stones are removed from the board if the stone (or group of stones) is surrounded by opposing stones on all orthogonally adjacent points, in which case the stone or group is ''captured''. The game proceeds until neither player wishes to make another move. When ...
