Rangers De Talca
Club Social de Deportes Rangers is a Chilean football club based in the city of Talca. The club was founded November 2, 1902 and plays in the second level of the Chilean football system. Their home games are played at the Fiscal stadium, which has a capacity of 16,000 seats. History The name Rangers was chosen by a Scotsman, Juan Greenstret, who was one of the founding fathers of the Club on behalf of Mrs. Amalia Neale de Silva, the first benefactress of the club. The origin of the chosen team colours, red and black, are unknown, though one of the possibilities was that some of the first players were also members of the Second Company of Firemen of Talca, whose shield was red and black. Another possible reason is the use of red and black in the socks of Rangers of Scotland (formed 1872) to represent the district colours of their local burgh of Govan. Estadio Fiscal
Estadio Fiscal de Talca is a multi-use public stadium in Talca, Chile. It is currently used mostly for association football matches and is the home stadium of Rangers. The stadium was built in 1930 as "Estadio Municipal de Talca". after seven years, in 1937, it would pass into the hands of the State and began to be called "Estadio Fiscal", with an original capacity of 17,000. In 2011 it was completely renovated, and currently holds 8,200 people (all seated). In July 2017, the Government of Chile announced that the stadium will expand its seating capacity to 16,000 by building the North and South ends. Fernando Gamboa
Fernando Andrés Gamboa (born 28 October 1970 in Marcos Juárez, Córdoba) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a defender. Playing career Gamboa started his playing career in 1988 with Newell's Old Boys where he won two league championships. In 1991, he was part of the Argentina squad that won the Copa América 1991 He joined River Plate in 1993, and after 12 league games in the 1993–94 season he moved to Boca Juniors. Between 1996 and 1999 Gamboa played for Oviedo in Spain, before returning for a second spell with Newell's Old Boys. Towards the end of his career he played for Chacarita Juniors and Argentinos Juniors in Argentina, Colo-Colo in Chile and Grasshoppers Zurich of Switzerland.
