''Rang De Basanti'' is an upcoming Bhojpuri-language Patriotic film directed by Premanshu Singh and produced by Roshan Singh and Sharmila R. Singh under SRK films. Written by Manoj Kushwaha, the film stars Khesari Lal Yadav in the lead role. Kunal Singh, Rati Pandey (her Bhojpuri debut) and Samarth Chaturvedi are in the supporting roles. Principal photography commenced in March 2023 with filming taking place in Kashmir. Daler Mehndi and Richa Sharma have sung for this film. Shatrughan Kumar Yadav (born 15 March 1986), known professionally as Khesari Lal Yadav, is an Indian actor, singer, dancer and model associated with Bhojpuri cinema. Also known by the Initialism KLY, Khesari has appeared in more than 70 films including one Bollywood film, and performed as vocalist in more than 5000 songs.
