Raneo Abu
Raneo "Ranie" Enriquez Abu (born October 28, 1970) is a Filipino politician serving as the Representative of Batangas's 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2022. He served as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines from 2016 until his removal on 2020. Early life Raneo Abu was born on May 12, 1967. He completed elementary and high school education in public schools in Bauan. In college, he took up general engineering at Batangas State University in 1984 to 1985 before shifting to political science at University of Batangas from 1986 to 1989. The Batangas Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Batangas. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting: the province is divided into six districts, two representatives in each district.
