Randy Soderman
Randy Soderman is a retired American soccer player and technology entrepreneur. The younger brother of Rick Soderman, Randy played for CISCO Soccer Club in Phoenix growing up. In 1992, he graduated from Cactus High School. That year, he joined the Arizona Cotton for the 1992–93 USISL indoor season. Soderman attended Glendale Community College where he was a 1993 NJCAA Second Team All American. In the summer of 1994, Soderman played outdoors with the Arizona Cotton. That fall, he entered Grand Canyon University, playing one season on the men’s soccer team before declaring himself eligible for the CISL professional draft. In 1995, he turned professional with the Arizona Sandsharks of the Continental Indoor Soccer League that was led by Ron Newman. That fall, he signed with the Chicago Power of the National Professional Soccer League. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. The Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) was a professional indoor soccer league that played from 1993 to 1997. The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) is a national organization for amateur soccer in the United States. It consists of 55 state organizations as well as national, regional and state leagues. The National Premier Soccer League, NISA Nation and United Premier Soccer League are USASA national affiliates designed to promote a higher level of competition than the state organizations. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. Anthony Maher (soccer)
Anthony Maher (born March 18, 1979) was a soccer forward. Maher was a 10-year outdoor and indoor soccer professional and also a member of the United States National Futsal team and took part in the 2007 Pan-American Games in Brazil. Maher retired in 2013. Amateur He started playing soccer in Cape May County, New Jersey, as a member of the Cape Express Soccer Club. He played high school soccer at Middle Township High School in New Jersey. United States National Futsal Team
The United States national futsal team represents the United States at international competitions. It is governed by the United States Soccer Federation and affiliated with CONCACAF. The U.S. Futsal Federation was founded in 1981 and the first international futsal match played by the U.S. National Futsal Team was in May 1984 in Nanaimo, Canada where the United States won, 6–5. The first international futsal match in the United States was held in December, 1985, at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. The U.S. select team, defeated Australia, 9–5. Milwaukee Wave
The Milwaukee Wave is an American professional indoor soccer team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1984, they have been the oldest continuously operating professional soccer team in the United States and are seven-time league champions, most recent being the 2018–19 champions of the Major Arena Soccer League. The World Indoor Soccer League (WISL) was a United States-based indoor soccer league that existed from 1998 to 2001 and consisted of nine teams.
