Randy Richards
Randy Richards (born January 24, 1991) is a former professional Canadian football offensive lineman for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He made his professional debut in 2015 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and won his first Grey Cup championship with the Calgary Stampeders in 2018. Richards has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Toronto Argonauts and the Edmonton Football Team. He played college football for the Missouri State Bears and the College of the Sequoias. Professional career NFL Richards was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL) on April 27, 2013 and also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that year before being released on October 16, 2013. 2020 CFL Season
The 2020 CFL season would have been the 67th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it would have been the 63rd season of the Canadian Football League. It was originally scheduled to begin on June 11; on April 7, the start of the season was delayed to begin no sooner than July due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. The CFL planned to obtain financial assistance from the federal government. In May, the CFL delayed the season to no sooner than September, and announced that the Grey Cup was to be played as a home advantage game rather than as a neutral site game in Regina, Saskatchewan, as originally planned. The 2015 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 58th season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Roughriders finished with a 3-15 record and failed to qualify for the playoffs. For the third consecutive season, the club held their training camp at Griffiths Stadium in Saskatoon with the main camp beginning on May 31.
