Randy Maggard
Randy Maggard (born July 4, 1963) is an American politician. He is a Republican representing the 38th district in the Florida House of Representatives. Biography Maggard was born in Dade City, Florida. He earned an Associate degree from Pasco-Hernando State College in 1983. He and his wife, Colleen, have three children and live in Dade City. Political career Maggard was chairman of the Republican Party of Pasco from 2006 to 2012. In 2019, Maggard ran in a special election to fill the 38th district's seat in the Florida House of Representatives, after former Rep. Danny Burgess was appointed head of the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs. Danny Burgess
Daniel Wright Burgess Jr. (born June 1, 1986) is an American politician who currently serves as a Florida State Senator from District 20, which includes parts of Tampa, Thonotosassa, New Tampa, and Zephyrhills. He previously served as the executive director of the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs, as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, and as the mayor of Zephyrhills. History Burgess was born in Zephyrhills, Florida in 1986 and attended the University of South Florida. While a college student, he was elected to the Zephyrhills City Council in 2005, defeating Celia Graham with 60 percent of the vote. Burgess was re-elected in 2007, defeating Richard Kaeberlein with 82 percent of the vote, and he served as President of the City Council. Dade City, Florida
Dade City is a city in and the county seat of Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is located in the Tampa Bay Area. The population was 6,437 at the 2010 census. Dade City is popular with tourists for its antique stores, restaurants, and historic architecture, including the Pasco County Courthouse, Hugh Embry Library, and Edwinola. The annual Kumquat Festival is hosted downtown. The surrounding area produces the tart kumquat, a citrus fruit eaten whole, as a commodity crop. Pasco County is located on the west central coast of the U.S. state of Florida. According to the 2020 census, the population was 561,691. Its county seat is Dade City, and its largest city is Zephyrhills. The county is named after Samuel Pasco.
