Norman Randall Legge (born December 16, 1945) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played 12 games in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers. Newmarket ( 2021 population: 87,942) is a town and regional seat of the Regional Municipality of York in the Canadian province of Ontario. The World Hockey Association (french: Association mondiale de hockey) was a professional ice hockey major league that operated in North America from 1972 to 1979. It was the first major league to compete with the National Hockey League (NHL) since the collapse of the Western Hockey League in 1926.
