Randy Jurgensen
Randy Jurgensen (born December 7, 1933) is a former American NYPD detective, best known as the lead investigator into the murder of patrolman Phil Cardillo as well as his contribution as a consultant on various film and TV projects. Early life and Career Jurgenson was born in 1933 to Elizabeth and Randolf Jurgenson in Harlem, NY. He was a childhood friend of legendary stand-up comedian George Carlin He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and was in the Battle of Pork Chop Hill in the Korean War. He was decorated with three bronze stars and a purple heart. After serving in the Army, he entered the New York Police Department in 1958 as a patrolman and was quickly promoted to detective. In the early 1960s, Jurgensen and his partner performed undercover work to investigate homosexual murders in New York City. Louis Farrakhan
Louis Farrakhan (; born Louis Eugene Walcott, May 11, 1933) is an American religious leader, black supremacist, anti-white and antisemitic conspiracy theorist, and former singer who heads the Nation of Islam (NOI). Prior to joining the NOI, he was a calypso singer who used the stage name Calypso Gene. Earlier in his career, he served as the minister of mosques in Boston and Harlem and was appointed National Representative of the Nation of Islam by then NOI leader Elijah Muhammad. He adopted the name Louis X, before being named Louis Farrakhan. After Warith Deen Mohammed reorganized the original NOI into the orthodox Sunni Islamic group American Society of Muslims, Farrakhan began to rebuild the NOI as "Final Call". ''Sorcerer'' is a 1977 American thriller film directed and produced by William Friedkin and starring Roy Scheider, Bruno Cremer, Francisco Rabal, and Amidou. The second adaptation of Georges Arnaud's 1950 French novel ''Le Salaire de la peur'', it has been widely considered a remake of the 1953 film ''The Wages of Fear'', although Friedkin disagreed with this assessment.
