CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The CONCACAF Under-20 Championship is the second longest running international association football event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, CONCACAF, and is the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. 2019 CONCACAF League
The 2019 CONCACAF League (officially the 2019 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the third edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The tournament was expanded from 16 to 22 teams for the 2019 edition, with the addition of a preliminary round. The six new entrants were five teams from Central America, which had previously directly qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League, and a team from Canada playing in the Canadian Premier League, bringing the total number of teams playing in the CONCACAF League/Champions League from 31 to 32. CONCACAF League
The CONCACAF League was an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF as its second-tier continental competition. It was announced on 8 May 2017. The competition uses a knockout cup format with each round having two legs. The top six teams proceed to the CONCACAF Champions League. From 2019 to 2022, the tournament featured 22 teams, an increase from 16 in the 2017 and 2018 editions. The competition ended after the 2022 edition due to the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League, starting with the 2024 edition. 2019–20 Liga FPD
The 2019–20 Liga FPD season, also known as Liga Promérica for sponsorship reasons, is the 99th season since its establishment. The tournament is divided into two championships, the Apertura and Clausura, each in an identical format and each contested by 12 teams. The Voit Loxus is the official match ball of the tournament. San Carlos are the defending champions, after defeating Saprissa in the Clausura 2019 tournament. The CONCACAF Champions League, known officially as the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF.
