Ramón Alexander Torres (born January 22, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals. Career Kansas City Royals Torres signed with the Kansas City Royals as an international free agent on May 28, 2010. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Royals. He played for the DSL Royals the next year, slashing .260/.351/.397 with 2 home runs and 24 RBI. In 2012, he spent the year with the rookie ball AZL Royals, batting .316/.385/.430 with 3 home runs and 27 RBI. He split the 2013 season between the rookie ball Burlington Royals and the Single-A Lexington Legends, posting a .257/.294/.365 batting line with 3 home runs and 25 RBI. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. Omaha Storm Chasers
The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They are located in Papillion, Nebraska, a suburb southwest of Omaha, and play their home games at Werner Park, which opened in 2011. The team previously played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium from 1969 to 2010. Omaha has been the only Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals since their inception in the 1969 Major League Baseball expansion. The Charros de Jalisco ( en, Jalisco Horsemen) are a professional baseball team in the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico, Mexican Pacific League based in Zapopan, Jalisco. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. The Olmecas de Tabasco (English: Tabasco Olmecs) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico.
