Ramón De Cárdenas
Ramón de Cárdenas Pastor (9 April 1884 - 31 October 1943) was a Spanish lawyer and footballer who played as a midfielder for Madrid FC (now Real Madrid CF), Athletic Club, Español de Madrid and Club Vizcaya. He is best known for being the fourth president of the Athletic Club de Madrid (now Atlético Madrid) between 1909 and 1912. He is the brother of the architects Manuel de Cárdenas Pastor and Ignacio de Cárdenas Pastor. Playing career Sky/New FC Cárdenas was born in Madrid as the son of Ramón de Cárdenas y Padilla (1852–1926), a journalist born in Havana who had emigrated to Madrid at the end of the 19th century and who belonged to the Spanish nobility. Antonio Neyra
Antonio Sánchez de Neyra Castro (16 March 1884 – Unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Madrid FC, Club Español de Madrid and RCD Espanyol. He was one of the most important footballers in the amateur beginnings of Madrid FC, being one of the main architects of the team's rise to national dominance in the 1900s. He was one of the members of the first Board of Directors of Madrid FC presided by Juan Padrós in the club's official establishment on 6 March 1902. Mario Giralt Iduate (1882 - Unknown) was a Cuban-born Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Madrid FC. He was a member of some of the oldest football entities in Spain, such as Sky Football, Madrid Football Club and the Club Deportivo Español, being a founding member of the first two together with his older brothers José and Armando, who both had memorable careers. Carlos Padrós Rubió, also known as Carles Padrós Rubió (9 November 1870 – 30 December 1950) was a Spanish politician, businessman and football pioneer who was the 3rd President of Real Madrid. 1902 Copa De La Coronación
The 1902 Copa de la Coronación was a football competition in honour of the coronation of Alfonso XIII of Spain. The Royal Spanish Football Federation does not recognize it as the first season of the Copa del Rey, which began the following year. The competition was thought up after Carlos Padrós, later president of Madrid FC, suggested a football competition to celebrate the coronation of Alfonso XIII. Four other teams joined Madrid for the first competition: FC Barcelona, Club Español de Foot-Ball, Bizcaya (a combination of Athletic Club and Bilbao Football Club) and New Foot-Ball Club. The competition featured the first recorded game between Barcelona and Madrid FC, with the former emerging as 3–1 winners, courtesy of goals from Udo Steinberg and Joan Gamper.
