''Ramzor'' ( he, רַמְזוֹר; '' lit.'' Traffic Light) is an Israeli sitcom. The program was created by Adir Miller, who also co-authored the screenplay (along with Ran Sarig) and also appears in the program in the leading role. The series ran for four seasons on Israeli Channel 2 (on Keshet) between 2008–2014. The fourth season was announced as the final one. In early 2010, Fox purchased the rights for an American adaptation of the series, ''Traffic Light'', which premiered on 8 February 2011. In 2010 the series won an Israeli TV Academy Award (פרס האקדמיה לטלוויזיה) in the Best comedy series category and also became the first Israeli TV series that won the International Emmy Award in the Best comedy series category. Around 2016, Lithuanian production company, Videometra, purchased the rights for a Lithuanian adaptation for the series, Šviesoforas, which premiered on 13 March 2017 on TV3. Adir Miller
Adir Miller ( he, אדיר מילר, born ) is an Israeli actor, screenwriter, and comedian. He is well known for his dry humor and his split second improvisation skills. Early life Miller was born in Holon, Israel, to Jewish parents who were Holocaust survivors. He served as a commander in the Unit 8200 of the Israel Defense Forces's Intelligence Corps. Career Standup and television Miller's professional career started in 1999, when he appeared in a stand-up comedy series called ''Domino'', alongside Asi Cohen and Guri Alfi, among others. Afterwards he appeared in ''The Domino Effect'' and in Dudu Topaz's '' HaRishon BaBidur'' on the Israeli Channel 2. In 2000, Miller started his own comedy show, named ''Adir Miller'' after himself. ''Traffic Light'' is an American sitcom television series that ran on Fox from February 8, 2011 to May 31, 2011. It is based on the Israeli television series ''Ramzor'' ( he, רמזור, lit. "traffic light"; by Keshet Broadcasting Ltd.), and was adapted to an American audience by Bob Fisher. The series aired Tuesdays at 9:30 pm following ''Raising Hope'' as a mid-season replacement for ''Running Wilde''. On May 10, 2011, Fox cancelled the series after 1 season. Danny Niv ( he, דני ניב) (born March 2, 1975 in Rishon LeZion, Israel), better known as Mooki ( he, מוקי) is an Israeli singer and rapper, best known as the frontman for successful Israeli hip hop/punk act Shabak Samech between 1992 and 2000, and again since 2007.
