Ramy Gunady
Ramy Gunady (born December 20, 1981) is an Egyptian basketball player currently playing for Al Wehda FC of the Saudi Basketball League. He is a member of the Egypt national basketball team. Gunady participated with the Egypt national basketball team at the 2007 and 2009 FIBA Africa Championship AfroBasket 2009 was the 25th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the basketball sport governing body, and the African zone thereof. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Egypt National Basketball Team
The Egyptian national basketball team is organized and run by the Egyptian Basketball Federation ( ar, الاتحاد المصري لكرة السلة). Winning the title of the EuroBasket 1949 is its most celebrated achievement. FIBA Africa Championship 2007
AfroBasket 2007 was the 24th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the basketball sport governing body, and the African zone thereof. The tournament was hosted by Angola, in the cities of Benguela, Cabinda, Huambo and Lubango. Angola won its fifth consecutive African championship and ninth overall by beating Cameroon 86-72 in the championship game. Cape Verde won the bronze medal game over Egypt. Angola qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing whereas Cameroon and Cape Verde qualified for the 2008 Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
