Ramon (russian: Рамóнь) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and the administrative center of Ramonsky District of Voronezh Oblast, Russia. Population: It was first mentioned in 1615. It was granted urban-type settlement status in 1938. Princess Eugenia Maximilianovna of Leuchtenberg (russian: Евгения Максимилиановна Лейхтенбергская) (1 April 1845 – 4 May 1925) was a daughter of Maximilian de Beauharnais, 3rd Duke of Leuchtenberg and his wife Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna of Russia (1819–1876), Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna of Russia. Ramon Palace, also known as Princess Oldenburg's Palace, is a red-brick neo-Gothic palace in Ramon, Russia. It was built in 1883–87 for Princess Eugenia Maximilianovna of Leuchtenberg and her husband Duke Alexander Petrovich of Oldenburg. It is registered as an object of Russian cultural heritage.
