Ramchandra Gandhi
Ramchandra Gandhi (9 June 1937 – 13 June 2007) was an Indian philosopher. He was the son of Devdas Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi's youngest son) and Lakshmi (daughter of Rajaji) and also brother of Rajmohan Gandhi, Gopalkrishna Gandhi and Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee. Ramchandra Gandhi obtained his doctoral degree in philosophy from Oxford where he was a student of Peter Strawson. He is known for founding the philosophy department at the University of Hyderabad. He also taught at Visva-Bharati University, Panjab University, California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California, and Bangalore University. He died at the India International Centre on 13 June 2007, four days after his 70th birthday. Mahatma Gandhi Family
The Gandhi family is the family of Mohandas Gandhi (2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948). Gandhi was the distinguished leader of the Indian independence movement in British-ruled India. Gandhi has been called the Father of the Nation, a title first given to him by Subhas Chandra Bose on 6 July 1944 during Bose's address on the Singapore Radio. On 28 April 1947, Sarojini Naidu too referred to Gandhi with the title ''Father of the Nation''. Leela Gandhi
Leela Gandhi (born 1966) is an Indian-born literary and cultural theorist who is noted for her work in postcolonial theory. She is currently the John Hawkes Professor of Humanities and English and director of the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women at Brown University. Gandhi previously taught at the University of Chicago, La Trobe University, and the University of Delhi. She is a founding co-editor of the academic journal ''Postcolonial Studies'', and she serves on the editorial board of the electronic journal '' Postcolonial Text''.
