Rambo is a surname with Norwegian (Vestfold) and Swedish origins. It possibly originated with '' ramn'' + '' bo'', meaning "raven's nest". Vestfold
Vestfold is a traditional region, a former county and a current electoral district in Eastern Norway. In 2020 the county became part of the much larger county of Vestfold og Telemark. Located on the western shore of the Oslofjord, it bordered the previous Buskerud and Telemark counties. The county administration was located in Tønsberg, Norway's oldest city, and the largest city is Sandefjord. With the exception of the city-county of Oslo, Vestfold was the smallest county in Norway by area. Vestfold was the only county in which all municipalities had declared Bokmål to be their sole official written form of the Norwegian language. Vestfold is located west of the Oslofjord, as the name indicates. Rambo (1985 Video Game)
''Rambo'' (stylized on-screen as ''Rambo: First Blood Part II'') is a 1985 video game based on the film '' Rambo: First Blood Part II'' (1985). The game was designed by David Collier and Tony Pomfret with the ZX Spectrum version converted by Platinum Productions. The Commodore 64 version's music is by Martin Galway from Northern Ireland, incorporating melodies from the film's score. The Amstrad CPC version's music was played and recorded live by Choice Software's in-house programmer/designer/musician James Edward Cosby also from Northern Ireland, using a Yamaha DX7 synthesiser via the then new MIDI serial comms protocol. Trond Henriksen
Trond Børge Henriksen (born 28 April 1964, in Trondheim) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He is the father of Rosenborg BK midfielder Markus Henriksen. Biography Trond Henriksen played in Rosenborg from 1983 to 1993 as a wingback, achieving five Norwegian Premier League championships and three Norwegian Football Cup wins. Niko Eeckhout (born 16 December 1970) is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 1992 and 2013. 1 Life 2 Live was an American hip hop group, which comprised musicians Red Handed, Babe Blue and Rambo, that became well noted in the late 1990s for their debut single "Can't Nobody" with Timbaland. Career beginnings In 1995, in Bronx, NY, Juan "Red Handed" Cordova produced Doug E. Fresh's " Take 'Em Uptown", which caught the attention of Kid Capri. Capri's affiliates went on to feature Red Handed in various DJing gigs, and later accumulated the attention of next-door neighbor John "Rambo" Arias, who had aspirations of becoming a rapper. Antonije Pušić (; born 14 June 1963), known professionally as Rambo Amadeus () is a Montenegrin author. A self-titled "musician, poet, and media manipulator", he is a noted artist across the countries of former Yugoslavia. The Rambos
The Rambos were an American Southern gospel music group that was formed in the 1960s. They were one of the most successful Gospel trios of the 20th century. The group consisted of Buck and Dottie Rambo at first along with several various people singing with them and they were joined by their daughter, Reba, in 1965. They were a successful singing trio born out of the United Pentecostal Church. They were inducted into the Gospel Music Association's Hall of Fame in 2001. Rambo (stylized on-screen as R.a.m.b.o.) were an American punk rock band based in Philadelphia. The band identified with the straight edge, anarchist, vegan, crust punk, cyclist and thrashcore movements. Known for hectic live performances, the band toured extensively in the United States, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia, including several sections of the latter continent previously unvisited by touring Western rock bands. ''The Video Game'' is a syndicated game show that ran for 1 year from September 1984 to September 1985. It was created by JM Production, and debuted shortly after the cancellation of their earlier game show ''Starcade''. ''The Video Game'' was taped at Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. Greg Winfield hosted, Karen Lea modeled, and Christopher Kriesa announced. Gameplay To begin, two contestants were called down from the audience. ''Rambo'' is a light gun shooter developed by Sega for the arcades in 2008. The game is based on '' Rambo: First Blood Part II'' (1985) and ''Rambo III'' (1988), but not ''First Blood'' (1982). Gameplay The player assumes the role of John Rambo, fighting through five levels. The first and final levels are based on the desert battle from ''Rambo III'', the second and third levels focus on Rambo rescuing the prisoners from ''Rambo: First Blood Part II'', and the fourth level consists of Rambo rescuing his mentor, Col. Trautman, from an enemy prison (also from ''Rambo III'').
