Baccaurea Motleyana
''Baccaurea motleyana'' is a species of fruit tree which grows wild in parts of Southeast Asia and is cultivated for its fruit in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia. Its common names include rambai and rambi, and in Thai language mafai-farang. In the Bengali language the fruit is known as bugi as local language in Narsingdi like lotka, lotkon or bugi in Bengali locally (লটকা/লটকন/বুগি), in the Assamese language it is known as (লেটেকু). This is a tree generally growing to in height with a short trunk and a broad crown. The evergreen leaves are shiny green on the upper surface and greenish-brown and hairy underneath. Each leaf is up to long and wide. The species is dioecious, with male and female flowers growing on separate individuals. Both types of flowers are fragrant and have yellow sepals. Mukim Rambai
Mukim Rambai is a mukim in Tutong District, Brunei. The population was 1,404 in 2016. Geography The mukim is located in the southern part of Tutong District, bordering Mukim Lamunin to the north, the Malaysian state of Sarawak to the east and south, Mukim Sukang and Mukim Bukit Sawat in Belait District to the south-west and west respectively, and Mukim Ukong to the north-west. Demographics As of 2016 census, the population was 1,404 with males and females. The mukim had 250 households occupying 248 dwellings. The entire population lived in rural areas. Villages As of 2016, Mukim Rambai comprised the following census villages: Infrastructures The local primary schools include Rambai Primary School and Benutan Primary School. Each school also houses a , school for the country's Islamic religious primary education. Kampong Benutan Mosque is the sole mosque in the mukim. Seri Rambai
The ''Seri Rambai'' is a 17th-century Dutch cannon displayed at Fort Cornwallis in George Town, the capital city of the Malaysian state of Penang and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest bronze gun in Malaysia, a fertility symbol and the subject of legends and prophecy. The cannon's history in the Malacca Straits began in the early 1600s, when Dutch East India Company officers gave it to the Sultan of Johor in return for trading concessions. In 1613, the Sultanate of Aceh attacked and destroyed Johor, captured the sultan, and took ''Seri Rambai'' to Aceh. Near the end of the eighteenth century the cannon was sent by Aceh to Selangor and mounted next to one of the town's hilltop forts. In 1871, the British colonial government launched an attack on the town in retaliation to a pirate attack, destroying the forts and confiscating the ''Seri Rambai''.
