''Ramapurada Ravana'' is a 1984 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by Rajachandra and produced by C. Jayaram and G. Radhakrishna. The film stars Anant Nag, Aarathi, Geetha and Thoogudeepa Srinivas. The film has musical score by Rajan–Nagendra. The film was remade in Tamil as '' Naam Iruvar''. Plot Rudra (Thoogudeepa Srinivas) is an alcoholic Village Man Living in his hometown with his niece, Radha (Geetha (actress)) and Orphan Man Thimma ((M. S. Umesh)) Hanumanth Rao (Ananth Nag) arrives in town as the new teacher and is offered a place to stay at the home of the trustee of the school, Seetha ( Aarathi). Rudra and Seetha were in love once but couldn't get married. Her father, Sribivasaiah (K. S. Ashwath) was the town leader and opposed the match due to Rudra's illiteracy and lack of wealth. Anant Nag
Dr Anant Nagarkatte (born 4 September 1948) is an Indian actor whose predominant contribution has been in Kannada cinema. He has acted in over 300 films which include over 200 Kannada films as well as Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam and English films. He has featured in theatre plays, parallel cinema and television shows. Nag made his feature film debut through ''Sankalpa'' (1973) directed by Prof. P.V Nanjaraj Urs. C. H. Loknath (14 August 1927 – 31 December 2018) was an Indian actor with more than 1000 Kannada plays and 650 films to his credit. Loknath is affectionately known as "Uncle Loknath" or "Uppinakayi" in the industry. His last performance was in a Star Suvarna Channel's TV series titled ''Priyadarshini''. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music. Maanu (actor)
Guttigeri Manappa (died 16 July 1996), known mononymously as Maanu, was an Indian actor, television director and author. He was most noted for his work in Kannada cinema. For his performance in '' Tabbaliyu Neenade Magane'' (1977), he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Kannada at the 25th Filmfare Awards South. Biography Maanu hailed from Kuppalli, a village in Shimoga district of Karnataka. He obtained his bachelor of arts degree from Sahyadri College in Shimoga. During this time, he also performed in amateur theatre. He obtained a master's degree from University of Mysore, and began working as a reader at a private educational institution. Geetha Kadambee (born 14 July 1962) is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. She debuted in the Tamil film ''Bairavi'' (as Rajinikanth's sister).
