Ram Jam City
''Ram Jam City'' is an album by British blues rock musician Danny Kirwan, released in 2000. This release consists of demo recordings for his 1975 debut solo album, recorded after leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1972. His solo career was being managed by ex-Mac manager Clifford Davis. Danny Kirwan
Daniel David Kirwan (13 May 1950 – 8 June 2018) was a British musician whose greatest success came with his role as guitarist, singer and songwriter with the blues rock band Fleetwood Mac between 1968 and 1972. He released three albums as a solo artist from 1975 to 1979, recorded albums with Otis Spann, Chris Youlden, and Tramp, and worked with his former Fleetwood Mac colleagues Jeremy Spencer and Christine McVie on some of their solo projects. Geoffrey Britton (born 1 August 1943) is an English rock drummer known for his work with Wings from August 1974 to January 1975, where he was featured on the '' Venus and Mars'' album. Paul Raymond (musician)
Paul Martin Raymond (16 November 1945 – 13 April 2019) was an English keyboardist and guitarist, best known for playing in UFO and Michael Schenker Group. Life and career Raymond began his musical career in January 1964 as a jazz musician. He later joined Plastic Penny as their keyboardist/vocalist, and replaced Christine McVie (née: Perfect) in British blues band Chicken Shack when she left for a solo career, before she joined Fleetwood Mac. Raymond then joined Savoy Brown as their keyboardist/guitarist. He subsequently recorded with the former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Danny Kirwan, appearing on his first album, ''Second Chapter'', released in 1975. ''Second Chapter'' is the debut solo album by British blues rock musician Danny Kirwan, released in 1975 on the DJM Records label. This was his first solo album after being dismissed from Fleetwood Mac in 1972, and his solo career was being managed by ex-Mac manager Clifford Davis. Demo tracks for this album were released on CD in 2000 as Ram Jam City. Reception Allmusic critic Joe Viglione declared that ''Second Chapter'' was a feather in the cap for Kirwan as well as producer Martin Rushent. Drawing comparisons with the music of Lindsey Buckingham, Paul McCartney and America, he highlighted the title track, "Love Can Always Bring You Happiness" and "Silver Streams" as the best tracks.
