Ram Gopal (born 1925) is an Indian writer and historian. Life His biography of Lokmanya Tilak was considered by the press as 'an admirable history and authoritative and standard work'. Reviewing it ''The Times'' said: "it is extremely well done". His ''Indian Muslims – A Political History (1858–1947)'' also brought him high praises. Rushbrook Williams said reviewing it in ''International Affairs'': "The author has taken the greatest possible pains to maintain impartiality, and his book is the product of much industrious research and is exceedingly well written". He was also author of several books on civics and politics. For some time he did research for the Union Ministry of Education in the Board of the History of the Indian Freedom Movement. Bissano Ram Gopal OBE (20 November 1912 – 12 October 2003) was an Indian dancer and choreographer who performed mostly as a soloist and toured extensively throughout his lengthy career. A modernist, he blended the classical Indian dance with balletic choreography, and along with Uday Shankar was among the first to showcase Indian classical dance in the West starting in the 1930s, Polish critic Tadeusz Zelenski called him "the Nijinsky of India". As a choreographer, he is most known for his productions, ''Legend of the Taj Mahal'', ''Dance of the Setting Sun'' and ''Dances of India''. Ram Gopal Bajaj is an Indian theatre director, academician, and a Hindi film actor. He has also been a faculty member and a former Director of National School of Drama, New Delhi (1995 – September 2001). He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2003 and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1996 for his contribution to theatre. Biography Ram Gopal Bajaj graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD) in 1965. He became a member of its faculty and eventually its Director (November 1995 – September 2001). Ram Gopal Yadav (born 29 June 1946) is an India, Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh. He is the Secretary-General of the Samajwadi Party and the Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Member of Parliament (MP) in Rajya Sabha, since 2008. Yadav also served as Lok Sabha MP of Sambhal Lok Sabha constituency, Sambhal from 2004 to 2008. On 23 October 2016, he was expelled from the party by Shivpal Singh Yadav, the state president of Samajwadi Party. He was accepted later in the party. On 30 December 2016, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was also his cousin, expelled him from the party again for six years, but on the following day the expulsion was revoked by the party on constitutional grounds.
