Ram (film)
''Ram: Part 1'' is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It stars Mohanlal in the title role alongside an ensemble cast including Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Samyuktha Menon, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna, Prachi Tehlan, Anoop Menon, Saikumar, Suman, Chandhunadh, and Siddique. Vishnu Shyam, a protege of veteran Vidyasagar, composes the film's music. Principal photography of the film began on 6 January 2020. After a schedule break in February, filming was halted for around three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the delay, Jeethu scaled-up the film's size. It resumed filming in August 2022. Premise Ram Mohan, a former R&AW operative who went rogue, is called back to deal with ''Bael'', a terrorist organization which possesses nuclear weapons capable of destroying India. Jeethu Joseph
Jeethu Joseph (born 10 November 1972) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He has also worked in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Jeethu made his directional debut with the 2007 police procedural, ''Detective''. He is best known for the crime thrillers, ''Drishyam'' and ''Drishyam 2''. Vidyasagar (born 2 March 1963) is an Indian composer, musician and singer who works predominantly in the Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu film industries. After working with several composers as assistant and conductor, Vidyasagar made his debut as a film composer in the 1989 Tamil film '' Poo Manam'' and nicknamed as Melody King Working for over 225 feature films, he is the recipient of the National Award and five Filmfare Awards.
