Ralph Joyce
Ralph Joyce (28 August 1878 – 12 March 1908) was an English cricketer, active from 1896 to 1907, who played for Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Leicestershire. He was born in Leicestershire, educated at Bedford School and at Brasenose College, Oxford, and died in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. He appeared in 48 first-class matches as a righthanded batting (cricket), batsman who bowling (cricket), bowled seam bowling, right arm slow. He scored 1,586 run (cricket), runs with a highest score of 102 and took eleven wickets with a best performance of two for 36. Notes

Leicestershire County Cricket Club
Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Leicestershire. It has also been representative of the county of Rutland. The club's limited overs team is called the Leicestershire Foxes. Founded in 1879, the club had minor county status until 1894 when it was promoted to first-class status pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895. Since then, Leicestershire have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. The club is based at Grace Road, Leicester, known as Uptonsteel County Ground and have also played home games at Aylestone Road in Leicester, at Hinckley, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Uppingham and Oakham inside the traditional county boundaries.
