''Blood of the Railroad Workers'' ( no, Rallarblod}) is a 1979 Norway, Norwegian drama film directed by Erik Solbakken (director), Erik Solbakken, starring Nils Ole Oftebro and Ragnhild Hilt. A group of ''rallare'' (migratory rail road workers) arrive in a small town in Norway, and cause social conflict. One of the men, Sjugur (Oftebro), stands apart as a strong, independent man. The girls like him, but he has set his sights on Innbranna (Hilt), the daughter of a wealthy landowner. Erik Solbakken (director)
Erik Solbakken (born 17 November 1984 in Hemsedal) is a Norwegian television presenter. Solbakken hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 together with Haddy Jatou N'jie and Nadia Hasnaoui. Career Solbakken trained as a journalist at Volda University College and has worked for the state-owned Norwegian broadcaster NRK, hosting multiple children's shows including ''Barne-tv'', ''Julemorgen'', ''Krem Nasjonal'', and ''Superkviss'', as well as ''Barnetimen for de minste'' on NRK P2. In 2011, Solbakken hosted the prestigious sports award show Idrettsgallaen with Haddy N'jie from Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre which was broadcast live on NRK. In 2011, he hosted the Eurovision Young Dancers competition in Oslo. Alongside Jenny Skavlan, Solbakken hosted Melodi Grand Prix, the Norwegian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in Melodi Grand Prix 2013, 2013 and Melodi Grand Prix 2014, 2014. Kristofer Uppdal
Kristofer Oliver Uppdal (19 February 1878 – 26 December 1961), born Opdal, was a Norwegian poet and author, born in Beitstad, Nord-Trøndelag. As a boy, Uppdal worked as a shepherd, and later as a miner and construction worker. In 1907 he started working for Norsk Hydro, and came to their factory in Rjukan in 1910-1911. In 1905, he debuted with ''Ung sorg'' (Young sorrow) and ''Kvæde'' (Songs), collections of poetry, followed by ''Sollaug'' in 1908, and ''Villfuglar'' (Wild birds) in 1909. With the short-stories collection ''Ved Akerselva'' (By the Aker River) in 1910, Uppdal introduced his epic 10-volume series of novels, ''Dansen gjenom skuggeheimen'' (The Dance through the Shadow Land). Nils Ole Oftebro (born ) is a Norwegian actor and illustrator. He was born in Sarpsborg. He worked for Fjernsynsteatret from 1969 to 1971. From 1971 he was assigned to Nationaltheatret. He was artistical director at Torshovteatret from 1987 to 1989. He received the Amanda Award for "Best Actor" in 1986, for his role in the television production ''Du kan da ikke bare gå'', and in 1998 for "Best Supporting Role" in '' Thranes metode''.
