Ralf Pittelkow
Ralf Pittelkow (born 9 April 1948 in Sønderborg, Denmark) is a Danish publisher of the extreme right online news site ''Den Korte Avis''. Pittelkow graduated as a student from high school in 1966 and holds a PhD in comparative literature from University of Copenhagen in 1973. From 1973 to 1992, he was assistant professor and associate professor at the Department of Comparative Literature at University of Copenhagen. For 17 years, until the end of 2011, he was a political commentator at the newspaper ''Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten''. Together with his wife, he founded the news site '' Den Korte Avis'' in 2012 where he maintains a position as editor-in-chief. The credibility of ''Den Korte Avis'' is debated. In 2014, an article published by the Danish Union of Journalists said that ''Den Korte Avis'' damaged the reputation of journalists and argued that it, despite its name (in English: "The Short Newspaper"), was not a real newspaper, as it often copied from other sources and ... Danish Broadcasting Corporation
DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. DR was originally funded by a media licence, however since 2022, the media license has been replaced by an addition to the Danish income tax. Autobiography
An autobiography, sometimes informally called an autobio, is a self-written account of one's own life. It is a form of biography. Definition The word "autobiography" was first used deprecatingly by William Taylor in 1797 in the English periodical ''The Monthly Review'', when he suggested the word as a hybrid, but condemned it as "pedantic". The Social Democrats ( da, Socialdemokraterne, ) is a social democratic political party in Denmark. Socialist People's Party (Denmark)
The Green Left ( da, Socialistisk Folkeparti, SF) is a democratic socialist political party in Denmark. It was formerly known in English as the Socialist People's Party, the literal translation of its Danish name. History 1959–1969 The SF was founded on 15 February 1959 by Aksel Larsen, a former leader of the Communist Party of Denmark (DKP). Larsen was removed from the ranks of the DKP for his criticism over the Soviet intervention in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Larsen and the new SF sought to form a third way between Denmark's United States-oriented social democracy and Soviet Union–oriented communism, which sought to combine democracy with socialism. Poul Oluf Nyrup Rasmussen (, informally Poul Nyrup, born 15 June 1943) is a retired Danish politician. Rasmussen was Prime Minister of Denmark from 25 January 1993 to 27 November 2001 and President of the Party of European Socialists (PES) from 2004 to 2011.
