Raktae Muangsurin
Raktae Muangsurin ( th, รักแท้ เมืองสุรินทร์); is a Thai retired Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Raktae started training at the age of 14. He moved to Bangkok to join the Muangsurin camp in 1977. Raktae quickly rose to prominence, he captured the Rajadamnern Stadium 135 lbs title in 1979, defeating Yousop Sor.Thanikul by decision. He holds victories over many notable champions of his era such as Jocky Sitkanpai, Jitti Muangkhonkaen, Seksan Sor Theppitak, Inseenoi Sor.Thanikul or Changpuek Kiatsongrit. Raktae was one of the most recognizable fighters of the 1980s on the Bangkok circuit with his heavy handed style. Raktae also competed in boxing both professional and amateur. He captured the now defunct OBA lightweight title and was the runner up at the Presiden'ts Cup in Indonesia. Royal Thai Army Stadium
The Royal Thai Army Stadium ( th, สนามกีฬากองทัพบก) is a multi-purpose stadium on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai of north Bangkok, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 and has a single stand with covered seating on one side and terracing on three sides. Dhawee Umponmaha ( th, ทวี อัมพรมหา; ; born November 15, 1959 in Amphoe Mueang Rayong, Rayong province) or known in Muay Thai as Kaopong Sitichuchai (ขาวผ่อง สิทธิชูชัย) is a Thai boxer. At the 1984 Summer Olympics he won a silver medal in the men's Light Welterweight (64 kg or 141 lb) category. Padejsuk Pitsanurachan ( th, เผด็จศึก พิษณุราชันย์); is a Thai Muay Thai fighter who competed at the highest level of Muay Thai in the late 1970s. He was the 1979 King's Muay Thai Fighter of the Year. Biography and career Khamsej started Muay Thai at the age of 14, fighting under the name Seisuk Kwanjaithungmon. Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn ( th, ดีเซลน้อย ช.ธนะสุกาญจน์) (born December 27, 1961 as Charin Sorndee) is a Thai former lightweight Muay Thai kickboxer and undefeated Lumpinee Stadium champion. Biography and career Dieselnoi (''Little Diesel'') was born in Tambon Huakoon, Amphoe Nakhon Luang, Nakhon Luang, Ayutthaya province. He started practicing Muay Thai at the age of 13 with his father and elder brother at the Sor Banchongsak training camp under the guidance of Banchong Ngarm-ket. Nong Khai province ( th, หนองคาย, ) was formerly the northernmost of the northeastern (Isan) provinces (''changwat'') of Thailand until its eight eastern districts were split off to form Thailand's newest province, Bueng Kan province, in 2011. Krongsak Sakkasem ( th, ครองศักดิ์ ศักดิ์เกษม) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer. Biography and career At the age of 10 Krongsak was sent to Bangkok where he studied to become a monk. Lumpinee Stadium
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. Only Rajadamnern Stadium rivals the prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee". The ranking system and championship titles are held from mini flyweight (105 lb) up to super welterweight (154 lb). Muay Thai bouts are held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
