Rakesh Kumar (born 3 January 1992) is an Indian cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 4 February 2020, for Arunachal Pradesh in the 2019β20 Ranji Trophy. In the match, he and Rahul Dalal shared a 74-run partnership for the 7th wicket against Bihar. It was the fifth-known instance of a fifty-plus partnership in first-class cricket with one batsman scoring all the runs. He made his Twenty20 debut on 11 January 2021, for Arunachal Pradesh in the 2020β21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Team
The Arunachal Pradesh cricket team is a cricket team that represents the state of Arunachal Pradesh in Indian domestic competitions. In July 2018, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named the team as one of the nine new sides that would compete in domestic tournaments for the 2018β19 season, including the Ranji Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy. 2019β20 Ranji Trophy
The 2019β20 Ranji Trophy was the 86th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It took place between December 2019 and March 2020. Chandigarh competed in the Ranji Trophy for the first time. Vidarbha were the defending champions. The Bihar cricket team represents the state of Bihar in Indian domestic cricket competitions. It is run by Bihar Cricket Association. History 1936 to 2004 The team competed in the Ranji Trophy from 1936-37 until 2003β04. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level.
