Rakel Karvelsson
Rakel Bjork Campbell née Karvelsson ( Icelandic name: Rakel Björk Ögmundsdóttir) (born 4 January 1977) is a former professional soccer player. Born and raised in the United States, she represented Iceland internationally. Early life Karelsson was born in the United States to Icelanders Ögmundur Karvelsson and Sigurlína Björgvinsdóttir. Her brothers, Ómar and Róbert, both played football. Career Karvelsson played college soccer for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1995 to 1998, and gained a reputation as a super sub. She started just 8 of her 102 appearances for the Tar Heels, but contributed 40 goals and 33 assists. She was named Icelandic Women's Footballer of the Year in 2000. She made 10 appearances for the Iceland women's national football team, scoring 7 goals. William Cole Campbell (born 20 February 2006), commonly known as Cole Campbell, is an Icelandic footballer currently playing as a forward for Borussia Dortmund. Early life Campbell was born to Iceland international footballer Rakel Karvelsson, and an American father. He was raised mostly in the United States, but would regularly visit Iceland during the summers since the age of eight, training with professional side Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar (FH). Texas Lutheran University (TLU) is a Private university, private Evangelical Lutheran Church in America university in Seguin, Texas. History The university traces its roots back to 1891, to an academy of the first German Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Texas, in Brenham, Texas, Brenham. McIntosh High School is a comprehensive four-year public secondary school located in Peachtree City, Georgia, United States, in Metro Atlanta.
