Rajko Prodanović
Rajko Prodanović (; born 24 April 1986) is a Serbian handball player for Hercegovac Gajdobra. Club career After starting out at Jugović, Prodanović moved to Spain and joined Antequera in 2008. He also played abroad for Vardar, Pick Szeged (two spells), Rhein-Neckar Löwen, and Meshkov Brest. In 2018, Prodanović returned to his homeland and signed with Vojvodina. International career Youth At youth level, Prodanović was a regular member of the Serbia and Montenegro winning squad at the 2004 European Under-18 Championship. He subsequently helped the nation win the gold medal at the World Under-19 Championship in August 2005. Later that month, Prodanović also participated at the 2005 World Under-21 Championship, as the team finished as runners-up. Gajdobra
Gajdobra () is a village located in the Bačka Palanka municipality, in the South Bačka District of Serbia. It is situated in the autonomous province of Vojvodina. Gajdobra has a total population of 2,578 inhabitants (as of 2011 census). Most of the inhabitants of the village are ethnic Serbs. History According to the archeologists, people have lived here since Neolithic period. During the Middle Ages Gajdobra was important because of a route which connected the village with Bač. In 1464, settlement called Dobra is mentioned where Gajdobra is today. Name "Dobra" is of Slavic origin and means "the good (place)". The same village was mentioned in 1554 (at the same time village Gajdobra was also mentioned, but it had only 2 families living in the village) and in 1570. Handball At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's Tournament
The men's handball tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from 28 July to 12 August at the Olympic Park. The group stage matches were held at the Copper Box and the knockout rounds took place at the larger Basketball Arena. Twelve nations were represented in the tournament. The four best teams from each group advanced to a quarter-final round, while the 5th and 6th teams in each group were classified 9th–12th by the results of their group matches. 2013 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2013 World Men's Handball Championship was the 23rd World Men's Handball Championship, an international handball tournament that took place in Spain from 11 to 27 January 2013. This was the first time Spain hosted the World Men's Handball Championship, becoming the twelfth country to host the competition. Spain won the title, beating Denmark in the final 35–19. It was Denmark's second final in a row. Venues Games in Madrid were scheduled to be played in the Madrid Arena but on 1 November 2012, five young people were killed in a human stampede during a Halloween party.
