Rajesh Roshan
Rajesh Roshan Lal Nagrath (born 24 May 1955) is an Indian Hindi cinema music director and composer. He is the son of music director Roshan and singer Ira Roshan. Personal life Rajesh Roshan has a Punjabi Hindu father and Bengali Brahmin mother, and has two children, a son (Eshaan Roshan) and a daughter ( Pashmina Roshan). He is the son of Hindi film composer Roshan. He is the brother of Indian film producer and director Rakesh Roshan. Career Rajesh Roshan had a successful collaboration with Kishore Kumar, Basu Chatterjee, Dev Anand, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle. He shot to fame with the score for the 1974 film '' Kunwara Baap'' and the 1975 film '' Julie''; for the latter he won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs. He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona and style of the actor lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie. He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award. ''Lootmaar'' () is a 1980 Hindi mystery film produced and directed by Dev Anand. The Filmfare Best Music Album Award is given by the ''Filmfare'' magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to the best composer/arranger of a soundtrack. This category was first presented in 1954. Naushad Ali was the first recipient of this award for his song "Tu Ganga Ki Mauj" from the film '' Baiju Bawra''. ''Julie'' is a 1975 Indian romantic drama film directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan and written by Chakrapani. The film stars Lakshmi in the title role (in her Hindi debut). It also stars Vikram, Nadira, Rita Bhaduri, Om Prakash, Utpal Dutt and Sridevi (in her first significant Hindi role). The film was a critical and commercial success. Despite the film's success, Lakshmi felt comfortable in choosing to do movies majorly down South.
