The concept of ''Pati Parmeshwar'' or ''Majazi Khuda'' originates in Hinduism, though it has been adopted by many practitioners of Islam in the Indian subcontinent. In the Hindu culture, a husband is considered as a Lord or a master though gradually this is changing See also *Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb ''Ganga–Jamuni Tehzeeb'' ( Hindustani for ''Ganges–Yamuna Culture''), also spelle ...
