Rajdweep
Rajdweep is an Indian screenwriter, playwright, lyricist and journalist hails from Dhing, Nagaon, Assam. He has been awarded by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan for his script 'Ishqlogy' at Cinestaan India's Storyteller's Script Contest in 2018. He is the first lyricist from Assam who writes Assamese songs in Bollywood film. He wrote the songs 'Jiri Jiri' for the film ''A Death In The Gunj'' and the bihu song for the film ''Jagga Jasoos''. Again, he becomes the first screenwriter from Assam who signed a Bollywood film. He signed the film on 21 October 2019. Personal life and education Rajdweep was born on 20 September 1986 in Nagaon, Assam. After doing graduation in Economics from Gauhati University, Rajdweep did Masters in Economics and then completed his master's degree in journalism. Pratighaat is an Indian Assamese language action drama and romance film directed by Achinta Shankar, written by Rajdweep and produced by Narendra N Sinha and Nalini Roy Gayari. Dhing is a town in the northwest of the Nagaon district in the state of Assam, India. Geography Dhing is located at . It has an average elevation of 64 meters (210 feet). Dhing is approximately 25 kilometers from the city of Nagaon. Demographics In the 2011 India census, Dhing had a population of 19,235. Males constituted 51.7% of the population and females 48.3%. Mahalakshmi Iyer is an Indian playback singer, best known for her Hindi, Assamese and Tamil songs. She has sung in many other Indian languages as well, including Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati and Kannada. Kenny Deori Basumatary is an Indian actor and film director in Assamese films. He is best known for Directing the Assamese martial arts comedy film Local Kung Fu he also starred in the movie. It was nominated for best Assamese film in the inaugural Filmfare awards for the Eastern region. The budget for this film was Rs.95,000. Kalpana Patowary
Kalpana Patowary is an Indian playback and folk singer from Assam. She sings in 30 languages and has many folk and popular songs to her credit, while Bhojpuri music has been her most dedicated foray.
