Rajasak Sor.Vorapin
Rajasak Sor.Vorapin ( th, ราชศักดิ์ ส.วรพิน; born February 23, 1967) is a retired Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Rajasak started fighting in Muay Thai at the age of 14. He was trained by his father at his home in the Buriram province and was competing in the neighbouring provinces of Surin, Ubon Ratchathani and Korat. In 1987 he moved to Bangkok to join the Sor.Vorapin Gym. In 1989 he defeated Ekaphon Chuwattana to capture the Rajadamnern stadium 115 lbs title. Later the same year he was matched with Langsuan Panyuthaphum in a fight billed as a champion against champion matchup. He was defeated by decision but won the rematch less than a month later. Rajasak became a successful fighter of the Bangkok circuit with his heavy knee style, he mostly fought for the promotor Klaew Thanikhul. Nang Rong ( th, นางรอง, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Buriram province, northeastern Thailand. The district lies approximately 50 km south-southwest of Buriram City. Dennuea Denmolee ( th, เด่นเหนือ เด่นโมฬี) was a Thai Muay Thai fighter who competed during the 1980s. Biography and career Den Wanduang was born on September 17, 1965, in the Lamphun province. He moved to Bangkok at the age of 15 to find work and ended up joining the Pitsanurachan boxing camp. There he started to compete at 16 under the ring name Dennuea Pitasanurachan. Dennuea became a three weight champion in the major Bangkok stadiums. Dennuea died on January 28, 2022, in Bangkok at the age of 56 from colon cancer. Lumpinee Stadium
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. Only Rajadamnern Stadium rivals the prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee". The ranking system and championship titles are held from mini flyweight (105 lb) up to super welterweight (154 lb). Muay Thai bouts are held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The fights usually start around 18:00. The final event at its original site on Rama IV Road near Lumphini Park was held on 8 February 2014.
