The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly or Andhra Pradesh Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature. The Legislative Assembly consists of 175 members which are elected by adult universal suffrage under the first-past-the-post system. The duration of the Assembly is five years from the date appointed for its first meeting, unless it is decided to dissolve the Assembly sooner. The Legislative Assembly's main functions include legislation, overseeing of administration, passing the budget, and airing public grievances. Nandalur
Nandalur is a village in Annamayya district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Nandalur mandal of Rajampeta revenue division. It is 10 km from Rajampet and 42 km from the District headquarters of the Cuddapah district on the State Highway connecting Cuddapah with Tirupati. It is located on the Cuddapah-Chennai highway, 38 km from Cuddapah and 11 km from Rajampeta. It is also close to other pilgrimage centres in Cuddapah district like Ontimitta, Polatala, Attirala and the famed birthplace of Sri Annamacharya, Tallapaka. 2019 Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Elections
The 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 11 April 2019 for constituting the fifteenth Legislative Assembly in the state. The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
