''Raja Ramesh'' is a 1977 Indian Telugu-language thriller film directed and co-written by V. Madhusudhana Rao. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Vanisri. The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It is a remake of the Bengali film ''Sanyasi Raja'' (1975), which was based on the Bhawal case. The film was released on 21 July 1977. Plot The film begins with Raja Rameshchandra Bhupathi a ruler of a terrain, always enjoys life in the frolic and is also a man of compassion that's why everyone in his estate adores him as a deity. But he always ignores his wife Rani Indumathi Devi which makes her suffer from loneliness. Meanwhile, Dr.Seshagiri a vicious person, who is brought by Raja Ramesh is appointed as his doctor when he keeps an evil eye on Rani and under sedation molests her. Thereafter, Doctor Intrigues Raja Ramesh by addicting him to slow poison then clearly shifts him to the beach house where he kills him. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Life Athreya was born on 7 May 1921 in Mangalampadu village near Sullurpeta, Nellore district of the Madras Presidency of British India. His birthname was Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu. He took ''Acharya'' from his birth name and ''Aatreya'' his Gotra name, combined them as ''Acharya Aatreya'' and adopted it as his pen name. Mikkilineni Radhakrishna Murthy (7 July 1914 - 23 February 2011) was an Indian actor and thespian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He was the founder of the theater group ''Praja Natya Mandali''. He has received the honorary ''Kalaprapoorna'' from Andhra University, for his contributions towards Telugu theater and cinema. Vasundhara Devi (born 16 August 1939), known by her stage name Kanchana, is an Indian actress who worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films, in addition to Malayalam and Hindi films. Early life and Career Kanchana was born as Vasundhra Devi on 16 August 1939 in Madras, Tamil Nadu of India to a Telugu-speaking family. Sreedhar (born Sreedhar Surapaneni) (Telugu: ) was an Indian actor from Andhra Pradesh, who has predominantly acted in Telugu films. He started acting in small roles in early 70s. He became popular with Mutyala Muggu in 1975 directed by Bapu. He proved himself as a versatile actor by playing hero, villain and other supporting characters in over 150 films.
