Shiny Toy Guns is an American rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California in 2002. The band is composed of guitarist/vocalist Chad Petree, vocalist Carah Faye Charnow, keyboardist Jeremy Dawson, and drummer Mikey Martin. Gregori Chad Petree (born Shawnee, Oklahoma) is a musician who is best known as co-lead vocalist and guitarist of American new wave/indie/ rock band Shiny Toy Guns. He also contributes music for production libraries such as Killer Tracks. Bands Chad's previous bands included: Paradigm, Cloud2Ground, R.R.D.S., Dangerous Insects, and the 90's pop group PC Quest. PC Quest (1990-1992) Chad participated in this band with his brother, Stephen Petree. Paradigm (1995-1998) Stephen Petree and Chad Petree teamed up again for this band and released three albums on Owl Records label. "You Are the One" is the second single by rock group Shiny Toy Guns from their album ''We Are Pilots''. This single peaked at #25 on the Alternative Songs chart, at #94 on the UK Singles Chart, and at #23 on the Dance Airplay chart. The song has its roots in a composition called "Neo (The One)", which was released in 2001 by Shiny Toy Guns members Jeremy Dawson and Chad Petree, under the alias Slyder, and appeared on the soundtrack to ''Grand Theft Auto III''. Music video The music video begins with a girl trapped in a large bubble of water. The band is then shown to be playing in front of her. Throughout the video, she looks around inside her bubble, until the song's bridge, at which point the bubble explodes. Heavy rain then starts falling on the band, and intense winds begin to blow.
